Este trabalho apresenta uma proposta para o ensino de Estatística no Ensino Fundamental em uma perspectiva interdisciplinar. As disciplinas envolvidas foram a Matemática, História e Ciências e os alunos eram de uma turma de sétimo ano de uma escola privada do município de Canoas-RS. A partir da análise de dados dos óbitos dos escravos sepultados no cemitério da Santa Casa de Porto Alegre no século XIX, se buscou a compreensão de conceitos de estatística descritiva, observando a aplicação dessa parte da Matemática nas disciplinas que colaboram nesse trabalho interdisciplinar. Utilizou-se tecnologias, como o uso do Google Forms e também planilhas eletrônicas, que ajudaram na construção de gráficos para avaliar e comparar resultados. O conjunto de dados coletados nessa pesquisa foi composto pelas produções dos alunos; como gravações de momentos de compartilhamento de ideias nas turmas, imagens durante o desenvolvimento do trabalho e anotações sobre as descobertas, necessidades e as falas dos estudantes. A análise dos dados foi baseada em um Estudo de Caso que ocorreu num ambiente de Modelagem Matemática compondo um ambiente investigativo, definido por Skovsmose como cenário para investigação. Foi aplicado um pré-teste e um pós-teste nesse grupo de alunos que permitiu identificar o aprendizado de conceitos estatísticos. Constatou-se que o trabalho interdisciplinar favoreceu o estudo de conceitos de Estatística e desenvolveu a competência para planejar e construir relatórios de pesquisas estatísticas descritivas, diferenciando pesquisa populacional de pesquisa amostral. A aplicação desse trabalho possibilitou aos estudantes refletirem criticamente para responderem seus questionamentos nos aspectos socioculturais, competências fundamentais para o pleno desenvolvimento da cidadania. / This paperwork presents a proposal for the teaching of Statistics in Elementary Education as an interdisciplinary subject. The subjects involved were Mathematics, History and Science and the students were from a seventh grade class from a private school in the city of Canoas-RS. From the analyzed data of the deaths of the slaves buried in the cemetery of Santa Casa of Porto Alegre in the nineteenth century, we sought to understand descriptive statistics concepts, observing the application of this part of Mathematics in the subject that collaborate in this interdisciplinary work. Technologies - such as Google Forms and spreadsheets - were used, which helped in the construction of graphs that were used to evaluate and compare results. The data collected in this research was composed by the students, like, recorded moments of sharing ideas in the classes, pictures taken during the development of the work and notes on the discoveries, needs and the speech of the students. The data analysis was based on a Case Study that occurred in a Mathematical Modeling environment making an investigative environment, defined by Skovsmose of landscapes of investigation. A pretest and a posttest applied to this group of students allowed the identification of learning statistical concepts. It was verified that the interdisciplinary work favored the study of Statistical concepts and development of the competence to plan and construct reports of descriptive statistical surveys, differentiating population research from sample research. The application of this work allowed the students to critically reflect and answer their questions within sociocultural aspects, fundamental skills for the complete development of citizenship.
