O estudo desta tese, objetiva analisar a dinâmica espacial através da paisagem como perspectiva teórico-metodológica segundo dimensões objetivas (materialização de formas) e subjetivas (relação do sujeito com o mundo). Para tanto, o foco dessa análise é a Cidade Jardim - Macrozona de Planejamento do Plano Diretor de Desenvolvimento Urbano e Ambiental de Porto Alegre. A escolha da Cidade Jardim tem como referência o significado da paisagem, cuja apropriação conceitual perpassa pelas ações simbólicas e concretas a partir de uma ideologia estética e de uma estratégia de organização espacial da zona sul de Porto Alegre. A análise da configuração territorial do espaço da Cidade Jardim dá-se a partir de diferentes leituras do espaço onde a paisagem, como um texto, estrutura-se em sistema de signos na qual outros sistemas (político, econômico, social, cultural) são transmitidos, reproduzidos, experimentados e explorados. A estrutura desta tese compreende a seguinte metodologia de análise: 1a) análise do discurso do outsider que corresponde ao tratamento objetivado da paisagem a partir de sua trajetória conceitual na ciência geográfica, onde, a partir do distanciamento, verificam-se as paisagens produzidas e como elas se apresentam de forma inevitável para aqueles que habitam nela; 2a) análise do discurso do insider que examinou os relatos dos moradores e frequentadores locais sobre a natureza da paisagem, como ela lhes parece, que importância eles atribuem à paisagem e de que maneira suas leituras podem contribuir para a política de gestão territorial; 3a) o cruzamento das leituras do outsider e do insider, numa perspectiva dialógica, que auxiliou na desfamiliarização da relação entre paisagens, ideologias e práticas políticas ou sociais. Nessa perspectiva, observou-se o quanto o caminho investigativo da ciência geográfica pode contribuir para o pensamento complexo da gestão da cidade e na implementação de políticas públicas mais solidárias, tendo em vista que além do tratamento descritivo, quantitativo e dialético, as análises interpretativas, a partir das narrativas dos sujeitos e espaços sociais, constroem os significados simbólicos de suas paisagens, indicando a forma como percebem (-se) (n)o mundo. / This study aims to analyze the spatial dynamics through the landscape as a theoreticalmethodological perspective, according to objective dimensions (materialization of forms) and subjective ones (individual and his relation with the world). In order to do that, the focus of this analyses is Cidade Jardim – Macrozone of the “Planejamento do Plano Diretor de Desenvolvimento Urbano e Ambiental de Porto Alegre” – Planning of chief Urban and Environmental Development of the City of Porto Alegre. Cidade Jardim was chosen due to the fact that it is a reference regarding the meaning of the landscape, which its conceptual appropriation is intertwined with the symbolic and concrete actions from an aesthetic ideology and of a special organization strategy of the south zone of Porto Alegre. The analyses of the territorial configuration of Cidade Jardim`s space takes place through different readings of this very space where the landscape, as a text, structures itself in a system of signs in which other systems (political, economic, social, cultural) are transmitted, reproduced, experimented and explored. The structure of this thesis is the following: 1) the outsider`s discourse analyses, which corresponds to the objective treatment of the landscape from its conceptual trajectory in geographical science, where, through distancing, it is possible to verify produced landscapes and how they present themselves inevitably to the ones who reside in it; 2) insider`s discourse analyses, that examines the residents’ and habitués’ reports about the nature of the landscape, how it seems to them, the importance they attribute to the landscape and how their reading can contribute to the policies of land management; 3) the crossing of the readings from the outsider and the insider, dialogically, which has aided in the de-familiarization of the relations among landscape, ideologies and social or political practices. Through this perspective, it was observed how much the investigational path of geographical science can contribute to the complex thought in city management and in the implementation of more solidary public policies, since, besides the descriptive, quantitative and dialectic treatment, the interpretive analyses, from the narratives of the subjects and social spaces, construct the symbolic meanings of their landscapes, indicating how they perceive (themselves) (in) the world.
