A necessidade de criar e proporcionar instrumentos que permitam aos alunos de Português Língua Estrangeira (PLE), em situação de não imersão, um maior e melhor desenvolvimento das habilidades de uso da língua portuguesa nos levou a visitar a Pedagogia de Projetos como uma metodologia que nos auxiliasse como professores na realização desse objetivo. Este trabalho visa analisar o projeto de criação de um jornal pelos alunos, proposto a um grupo de alunos do Instituto Cultural Brasil Venezuela (ICBV), para proporcionar uma oportunidade de reflexão para alunos e professores sobre a possibilidade de desenvolver uma atitude mais participativa, autônoma e consciente do processo de ensino-aprendizagem. São analisados os procedimentos adotados, o processo de elaboração do jornal, a escolha do tema, a produção dos textos e sua seleção para o produto final. O objetivo deste trabalho foi descrever como os alunos desenvolveram o projeto de criação de um jornal e quais oportunidades foram criadas para a aprendizagem da produção escrita no intuito de contribuir para uma melhor preparação dos alunos, assim como refletir sobre a possibilidade de trabalhar com a Pedagogia de Projetos em aulas de Língua Estrangeira. A criação do jornal Brasil Conosco criou oportunidades de uso da língua portuguesa envolvendo e integrando as quatro habilidades (compreensão oral, leitura, produção oral e escrita) e revelou-se altamente motivador para as alunas. Os resultados desse trabalho propiciaram também oportunidades de reflexão entre os professores sobre os objetivos de ensino de PLE no ICBV e formas de preparar melhor os alunos para o exame Celpe-Bras. / The need to create and to provide instruments that allow the students of Portuguese as a Foreign Language (PLE), in a situation of no immersion, a greater and better development of the abilities involved in the use of the Portuguese language led us to visit the Project Pedagogy as a methodology that could help us as professors in the accomplishment of this objective. This work is aimed at describing and evaluating the project about the opening of a newspaper by a group of students from the Cultural Institute Brazil- Venezuela (ICBV), with the intention of availing participants, students and teachers, of the reflection on the possibility of developing a more independent and conscious attitude towards the teaching-learning process. For this purpose, the procedures adopted by the pupils for the newspaper work, the choice of the subject, the production of texts and their selection for the final product were analyzed. Moreover, we observed/ pointed out the opportunities which had been created for the learning of the written production, since this is one of the main abilities developed during the accomplishment of the project. From our analysis, we can say that the opening of the newspaper Brasil Conosco gave chances for the use of the Portuguese language, involving and integrating the four abilities (oral comprehension, reading, oral production and writing) and it was highly motivating for the participants. The results of this work also provided opportunities for reflection among the teachers on the objectives of PLE teaching at the ICBV and of means to better train the pupils for the Celpe-Bras proficiency test.
