nÃo hà / The main objective of this dissertation is the analysis of the impact of the âSIMPLESâ and its ffects on the generation of jobs in the manufacturing industry of the state of Cearà amoung he years 1995 and 2006. It was used as a database of the RAIS of the Ministry of Labor and
Employment (MTE). As analysis instruments descriptive statistics and an econometric model hich matches cross â section data with temporal data were adopted. It was observed that the argest most concentration of establishments is located in the metropolitan area of Fortaleza nd thus generating more jobs in this region. It is also visible that the generation of jobs was
larger within municipalities on contain APL than those that do not. The results indicate that here was a substantial increase in jobs enrolment in micro and establishments (MPEs) ollowing the introduction of SIMPLES. Over this period of time, the impacts were positive
and significant, reflecting greater adoption of to the SIMPLES by the MPEs. The outcome et was that with some minor limitations, the SIMPLES contributed to the growing number f establishments and job generation in the manufacturing industry of the state of CearÃ
amoung the years 1995 and 2006. / A anÃlise do impacto do SIMPLES na geraÃÃo de empregos na IndÃstria de TransformaÃÃo do Estado do Cearà no perÃodo de 1995-2006 constitui o objetivo desta dissertaÃÃo. Utilizou-se
como base de dados a RAIS do MinistÃrio do Trabalho e Emprego (MTE). Como instrumentos de anÃlise foram utilizados a estatÃstica descritiva e um modelo economÃtrico
(pooling) combinando dados cross-section com dados temporais. Constatou-se que a geraÃÃo de emprego à maior nos municÃpios que possuem APL do que nos municÃpios que nÃo possuem APL. Os resultados indicam ainda que houve um aumento significativo no nÃmero de vÃnculos empregatÃcios nas Micro e Pequenas Empresas (MPEs) apÃs a introduÃÃo do
SIMPLES. Em termos temporais os impactos foram positivos e significantes no perÃodo de 1995-2006, refletindo positivamente, uma crescente adesÃo ao SIMPLES pelas MPEs. AlÃm disso, observou-se que a maior concentraÃÃo desses estabelecimentos està localizada na RegiÃo Metropolitana de Fortaleza (RMF). Com isso, nessa regiÃo ocorre maior geraÃÃo de emprego do que no Interior. Conclui-se, com algumas limitaÃÃes, que o SIMPLES contribuiu
para o crescimento em nÃmero de estabelecimentos e vÃnculos empregatÃcios na IndÃstria de TransformaÃÃo no Estado do Cearà no perÃodo de 1995-2006.
