nÃo hà / This work has analyzed the impact of Project Profissionalizar Teresina, from FundaÃÃo Wall Ferraz, organization that belongs to Prefeitura Municipal de Teresina, and it is related to the influence of insertion of newcomers in the job market. For that, It was used primary data through the fieldwork, with some information collected in questionnaries applied to 374 students who has been finishing the course who were qualified in 2007. The results of the research were analyzed with a methodology
based on describing statistics, completed with econometric model, the kind of logistic regression. The results revealed that there was a better distribution of the income
among the people who belong to the Project and raised the numbers of new workers in the job market, consequently there was a reduction of unemployed. One aspect
that deserve attention is the number of people who approval the learning that they had learned in the Project. The result got toward the Project is that only Professional
courses of short time are nor enough to guarantee more good results if they do not get together with other complementary actions. / Este estudo analisa o impacto do Projeto Profissionalizar Teresina, da FundaÃÃo Wall Ferraz, ÃrgÃo da administraÃÃo indireta da Prefeitura Municipal de Teresina, no que se refere à sua influÃncia na inserÃÃo dos egressos no mercado de trabalho. Para tanto, utilizaram-se de dados primÃrios obtidos por meio de pesquisa de campo, com informaÃÃes coletadas atravÃs de questionÃrios aplicados junto a 374 concludentes, que foram qualificados em 2007. Para anÃlise dos resultados da
pesquisa foi utilizada uma metodologia baseada em estatÃstica descritiva complementada com modelo economÃtrico, do tipo regressÃo logÃstica. O resultado apurado revelou que houve uma melhoria no perfil de distribuiÃÃo de renda do
pÃblico alvo do Projeto, aliada a uma contribuiÃÃo moderada na inserÃÃo dos egressos no mercado de trabalho e, consequentemente, uma reduÃÃo pouco significativa no nÃmero de desempregados. Um aspecto que merece destaque foi o alto Ãndice de aprovaÃÃo pelos beneficiÃrios no que se referente à aprendizagem dos conteÃdos ministrados, na percepÃÃo dos mesmos. O que se depreende do resultado alcanÃado pelo Projeto à que apenas os cursos profissionalizantes de curta duraÃÃo, se nÃo acompanhado por outras aÃÃes complementares, nÃo sÃo suficientes para garantir uma maior efetividade a um projeto dessa natureza no que diz respeito à ocupabilidade.
