Previous issue date: 2010 / We live in a network society, connected by Internet, that establishes an own logic of flow of news. Those when in net perspective are more time than space, being updated from second to second, without space limit. Internet broke the daily update logic of information, characteristic of the print newspaper. Motivated by the hypothesis that Internet information flow would exercise influence on the newsworthiness criteria postulated in theory, used in print journalism logic, we intend to make a rereading of these criteria in the time/space scenario of network society. Seeking evidence if remain the same, or if there were change. For this, is required interviewing the Zero Hora’s editors in chief, and observing staff meetings. Conceiving the printed newspaper as a self reference and straight reference system (Niklas Luhmann, 2005), contextualized in network society perspective (Manuel Castells, 2000, 2004), which proposes the existence of a new virtual space called space of flows; David Harvey (2002) time/space theories and Pierre Lévy’s (1999) explanation of virtually, for whom the virtuality is where the network society is divided. / Vivemos numa sociedade em rede, conectada pela Internet, que estabelece uma lógica própria de fluxo de notícias. Essas quando em perspectiva de rede são mais tempo que espaço, atualizando-se de segundo a segundo, sem limite espacial. A rede rompeu a lógica de fluxo informacional de atualização diária, de vinte quatro em vinte quatro horas, característico do jornal impresso. Motivados pela hipótese de que o fluxo da rede exerceria influência sobre os critérios de noticiabilidade postulados em teoria utilizados no jornalismo impresso, pretendemos realizar uma releitura desses critérios dentro do cenário espaço-temporal da sociedade em rede. Buscando evidenciar se permanecem os mesmos, ou se houve alterações. Para isso foi necessário entrevistar os sete editores-chefe e acompanhar as reuniões de pauta do jornal Zero Hora. Concebendo o jornal impresso enquanto sistema de auto-referência e heterorrefêrencia, segundo Niklas Luhmann (2005), o contextualizamos em perspectiva de sociedade em rede de Manuel Castells (2000, 2004), que propõe a existência de um novo espaço virtual, intitulado de espaço de fluxos, no qual se dá o fluxo informacional da rede; as teorias de David Harvey (2002) sobre a relação espaço/tempo e a explicação de virtualidade de Pierre Lévy (1999), para quem a virtualidade é onde a sociedade em rede se articula.
