Previous issue date: 2007 / The main objective of this research is to make a connection between the concept of Revelation and the concept of Inspiration in the Bible. The Dei Verbum Constitution of the II Vatican Council is the starting point of the study. In the first section of this research we present the process of God’s Revelation as well as the way He communicates with human beings in order to be understood by them. In the second section, we present important aspects to clarify what the Bible Inspiration is and also the multiple comprehensions of the way this phenomenon happens in order to understand how God’s Word can be a divine Word and, at the same time, a human word. In the last section, it is established the objective of the research. The communitarian dimension of Inspiration is highlighted as a challenge to be treated by the theological research. The theoretical support is given by the ideas of Pierre Benoit, Karl Rahner and Luiz Alonso Schökel – they are well known authors that have done many efforts to investigate the Catholic Church in order to understand this issue. / O objetivo deste trabalho é realizar um estudo que relacione o conceito de Revelação com o conceito de Inspiração na Bíblia. A Constituição Dei Verbum do Concílio Vaticano II é o ponto de partida. O primeiro capítulo trata do processo de Revelação de Deus assim como da maneira como Ele se comunica a fim de ser compreendido pelo ser humano. A segunda parte do texto estabelece contornos para compreender o que seja Inspiração na Bíblia assim como diversas compreensões possíveis da forma em que esse fenômeno ocorre na busca de entender como a Palavra de Deus pode ser ao mesmo tempo Palavra divina e palavra humana. O último capítulo estabelece mais claramente o objetivo da pesquisa. Há um acento na dimensão comunitária da Inspiração enquanto um desafio a ser tratado pela pesquisa teológica. As referências teóricas são os pensamentos de Pierre Benoit, Karl Rahner e Luiz Alonso Schökel por se tratar de autores consagrados que investiram esforços no âmbito da Igreja Católica para a compreensão deste problema.
