Previous issue date: 2015 / This thesis presents a mapping of dissertations produced in the twenty-first century, in the period 2001-2012, which have focused on the study Ethnomathematics. The goal is to analyze the effects of different conceptions of ethno and culture in a production sample chosen through the data provided by the Higher Education Personnel Improvement Coordination - CAPES. To this end, some specific objectives were outlined: to determine quantitatively the productions, particularly Academic Master's dissertations or College, developed in the twenty-first century, in the period 2001-2012 with the theme Ethnomathematics; identify the different conceptions of ethno and culture adopted by the authors of these productions; understand the relationship between the theoretical framework adopted, the focus of study, the chosen sample and the direction given in each production; analyze the main implications that adopted conceptions of ethnic and/or culture produces in the studies analyzed. From some criteria, found 203 productions were selected twenty dissertations as a sample for perusal. For analysis of the data collected was used as the method Textual Analysis Discourse. Identifies the eleven productions analyzed different conceptions of Ethnomathematics seven conceptions of culture and four conceptions of ethno. Shows that such conceptions tend to assist in the delimitation of the sample to be chosen as well as the focus of study, stressing the importance of a consolidated theoretical framework in order to contribute to these choices as well as the methodological direction given to research, providing a good development to be founded on theoretical sources safe, harmonious and well defined. It was also evidenced the diffusion of concepts and definitions through the instructions given, in which we observed a stream of knowledge that is disseminated. / Esta dissertação apresenta um mapeamento das dissertações produzidas no século XXI, no período de 2001 a 2012, que possuem como foco de estudo a Etnomatemática. O objetivo é analisar os efeitos das diferentes concepções de etno e cultura em uma amostragem de produções escolhidas por meio dos dados disponibilizados pela Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior – CAPES. Para tanto, alguns objetivos específicos foram delineados: verificar, quantitativamente, as produções, em particular dissertações de Mestrado Acadêmico ou Profissionalizante, desenvolvidas no século XXI, no período de 2001 a 2012 com o tema Etnomatemática; identificar as diferentes concepções de etno e cultura adotadas pelos autores dessas produções; compreender as relações entre o referencial teórico adotado, o foco de estudo, a amostra escolhida e o direcionamento dado em cada produção; analisar as principais implicações que as concepções adotadas de etno e/ou cultura produz nos estudos analisados. A partir de alguns critérios, das 203 produções encontradas, foram selecionadas 20 dissertações como amostra para leitura minuciosa. Para análise dos dados coletados utilizou-se como método a Análise Textual Discursiva. Identifica nas produções analisadas onze diferentes concepções de Etnomatemática, sete concepções de cultura e quatro concepções de etno. Evidencia que tais concepções tendem a auxiliar na delimitação da amostra a ser escolhida, bem como o foco de estudo, sublinhando a relevância de um referencial teórico consolidado de modo que contribua para essas escolhas bem como para o direcionamento metodológico dado à pesquisa, possibilitando um bom desenvolvimento ao estar alicerçado em fontes teóricas seguras, harmônicas e bem definidas. Além disso, mostra a difusão de conceitos e definições por meio das orientações realizadas, em que se observou um fluxo de conhecimentos que se dissemina.
