The nematodes of Egyptian birds.

This thesis is concerned with a collection of nematode parasites collected from Egyptian birds which was sent to the Institute of Parasitology, Macdonald College, by United States Navy Medical Unit 3, Cairo, Egypt. Recently, this unit was carrying on research in the distribution of schistosomiasis and other parasitic diseases infectious to man in the Middle Eastern countries of Yemen, Egypt and the Sudan. It was decided that it would be of considerable value to Science to make a study of the ecto- and endoparasites of these areas, and ultimately to publish a host-parasite list of the findings.
