Finite Element Simulations on Complex Rolling of Sandwich Sheets and Experimental Study on Hot Complex of Sandwich Sheet Rolling

Abstract
This paper investigates plastic deformation of sheets at the roll-gap in complex rolling of sandwich sheets unbonding before rolling by Finite Element Simulation approaches. The effects of reduction, thickness ratio of inner layer and total thickness at the entrance, rolling force and exit curvature are discussed systematically. Furthermore, the FEM predictions are compared with experimental results and they are in good agreement.
Sandwich sheets combined from aluminum and copper sheets are employed to carry out experiments of hot rolling of sandwich sheets.
Further, at high temperature, the bonding strength decreases.
