Se propone un edificio en Cajamarca que sirva como equipamiento cultural para la ciudad, en donde se pongan en valor las artes tradicionales de la región e incentive el uso y puesta en valor del río San Lucas y su malecón. Para el diseño se propone una edificación que reinterpreta la arquitectura tradicional Cajamarquina; de volúmenes compactos, ortogonales, articulados por una galería de madera que en su desarrollo va conformando patios alimentadores de luz y ventilación para los ambientes principales. Además, en ellos se desarrolla actividades culturales, académicas y de servicio. / Is proposed to serve as cultural infrastructure for the city of Cajamarca. The building is intended to showcase and reinforce the value of traditional arts in the region; as well as incentivize the use of the San Lucas River and its Riverwalk, while highlighting their relevance for the city. The proposed design capitalizes on the reinterpretation of the traditional architecture of Cajamarca. As such, it is comprised of compact, orthogonal volumes articulated by a wooden gallery that creates open patios along its length, providing natural lighting and ventilation for the main spaces in the interior of building. In addition, said patios serve as complementary areas for cultural, academic and/or service activities and events. / Tesis
