This research develops the hypothesis of the existence of a sectored inequity in the tax load in Peru during the period 1950-1980, which constitutes a different approach from the analysis made per family. From this point of view, during this period, we have found a political orientation to favor and/or disfavor certain sectors, depending on the ruling governments. / En el presente trabajo desarrollamos como hipótesis la existencia de una inequidad sectorial en la carga tributaria en el Perú durante el periodo 1950-1980, que constituye un enfoque diferente al análisis por familia. Desde ese ángulo encontramos, en el periodo considerado, una orientación de corte político para favorecer y/o desfavorecer a determinados sectores, según los gobiernos de turno.
