El autor desarrollo inicialmente el concepto de diligencia para luego comprender el papel del mismo en el Derecho de las Obligaciones. De esa forma, analiza y comenta las distintas concepciones que han habido sobre diligencia. Acto seguido se analiza el trato que le da nuestro Código Civil, para entender su pertinencia al momento de analizar el tema de la inejecución de las obligaciones. The author develops the concept of diligence in order to understand its role in the Law of Obligations. In that way, he comments the different conceptions about diligence. Then, he analyzes how the diligence is regulated in the Peruvian Civil Code. In that way he connects the concept of diligence with the topic of failure of obligations.
