El presente documento de investigación tiene como punto de partida analizar la
sostenibilidad de la empresa Reyser Ingenieros SRL, en el ámbito social, económico y
ambiental, por tal motivo se identificaron los informes de sostenibilidad como un instrumento
de gestión que permite incorporarse en las estrategias de la empresa. La presente tesis de
investigación explica que la aplicación de los estándares del Global Reporting Initiative
(GRI) mejora la competitividad de la organización a través de la innovación, eficiencia en la
toma de decisiones y genera confianza con los clientes. Ello, representa una importante
alternativa para aprovechar el reporte como una herramienta de gestión que permite
identificar las oportunidades y riesgos, y aplicar la mejora continua en el desempeño de la
empresa.
El desarrollo del presente trabajo comprende analizar los aspectos externos que
permitieron identificar oportunidades y amenazas, luego la evaluación interna con la finalidad
de establecer fortalezas y debilidades, y seguidamente evaluar la competitividad del sector
donde se desenvuelve la empresa. Esto logró identificar la oportunidad clave, la cual fue
analizada de forma cuantitativa y cualitativa, luego fue necesario realizar toma de decisiones
para la alternativa de solución más factible, además se identificó mejorar la estrategia de
marketing como problema raíz. Por consiguiente, se propuso un plan de implementación de la
propuesta planteada y se detallaron los resultados esperados.
En conclusión, el reporte de sostenibilidad GRI permite generar una oportunidad para
ser utilizada en las estrategias de la empresa. Para ello, se debe aplicar los diferentes
estándares propuestos donde se detallan actividades y recomendaciones con la finalidad que
Reyser Ingenieros SRL alcance los objetivos sostenibles y la creación de valor compartido
con los grupos de interés. / This research document will analyze the sustainability of the company Reyser
Ingenieros SRL, in the social, economic and environmental field. For this reason,
sustainability reports were identified as an instrument that allows incorporating into the
company's strategies. This thesis explains that the application of the Global Reporting
Initiative (GRI) standards improves the competitiveness of the organization through
innovation, efficiency in decision-making and builds trust with customers. This initiative
represents an important alternative to take advantage of the report as a management tool that
allows identifying opportunities and risks, and applying continuous improvement in the
company's performance.
The development of this work includes analyzing the external aspects that allowed
identifying opportunities and threats, then the internal evaluation with the purpose of
establishing strengths and weaknesses, and then evaluating the competitiveness of the sector
where the company operates. It was possible to identify the key opportunity, which was
analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively, then it was necessary to make decisions for the
most feasible solution alternative, in addition, the lack of marketing strategy was identified as
a root problem. Therefore, an implementation plan of the proposal was proposed and the
expected results detailed.
In conclusion, the GRI sustainability report allows to generate an opportunity to be
used in the company's strategies. For this reason, the proposed standards must be applied
according detail activities and recommendation indicated in this document in order to achieve
sustainable objectives and create share value with stakeholders.
