El presente documento es un trabajo donde se realizó un análisis de revisión teórica
de los cinco enfoques de educación sexual más empleados en Latinoamérica con el
fin de determinar sus características y el modelo de ser humano que se intenta formar
desde cada uno de estos. Para ello, fueron consultadas diversas fuentes de
información provenientes de base de datos, repositorios universitarios y artículos
académicos comprendidos entre el 2006 y 2021. El primer apartado contiene la
conceptualización sobre la educación sexual en Latinoamérica, la polémica en torno
a la educación sexual en las escuelas de dicho espacio geográfico y la educación
sexual en el Currículo Nacional de Educación Básica peruano. El segundo apartado
contiene el análisis de los cinco enfoques de educación sexual más la concepción de
la sexualidad y el ser humano que esperan a partir de su enseñanza. En cuanto a la
metodología, se decidió por hacer el estado del arte, ya que el interés primordial es la
identificación de los enfoques de educación sexual que causan polémica en la
sociedad y el modelo de persona deseado desde cada uno. En las reflexiones, lo más
resaltante es la diversidad de enfoques sexuales revisados y la relación progresiva
existente del modo de enseñanza que formará al estudiante, encontrada entre los
enfoques. / This document is a paper work where a theoretical review analysis of the five most
most used sexual education approaches in Latin America in order to determine their
characteristics and the model of human being that is tried to form from each of these.
For this, various sources of information from databases, university repositories and
academic articles between 2006 and 2021 were consulted. The first section contains
the conceptualization of sexual education in Latin America, the controversy
surrounding sexual education in the schools of the same geographic space and sexual
education in the Peruvian National Basic Education Curriculum. The second section
contains the analysis of the five approaches of sexual education plus the conception
of sexuality and the human being that they expect from their teaching. Regarding the
methodology, it was decided to make a “state of the art”, since the principal interest in
the identification of the sexual education approaches that cause controversy in society
and the model of person desired from each one. In the reflections, the most striking
thing is the diversity of sexual approaches reviewed and the progressive relationship
existing in the way of teaching that will form the student, found between the
approaches.
