Transverse Model Analysis of Coupled Strip-Finline Structure / 利用橫向模波法分析藕合微帶--鰭狀傳輸線

碩士 / 大同大學 / 電機工程研究所 / 78 / In this thesis, transverse modal analysis (TMA) is carried out to exame a coupled strip-finline line structure. As a shielded structure with rectangular cross section, the associated unknown field quantities can easily be expanded in terms of the waveguide modal functions. The strip current density and slot field intensity are represented by sum of sinusoidal basis functions with different weightings. Combined with the required boundary conditions, there results in a matrix equation from which the dispersion characteristics can be obtained. The relative convergent phenomenon which results in correct results is studied. Using proper definitions, the effective dielectric constants and characteristic impedances can be computed. The effects of the strip and slot width on the dispersion characteristics are Investigated and discussed. Numerical resuits have goon agreement with data available in the literature.
