An Analysis of Film Condensation for A Vertical Finned Tube / 具軸向外鰭片之垂直圓管薄膜冷凝分析

碩士 / 國立中山大學 / 機械工程研究所 / 82 / To analyse rapidly and efficiently the condensation and heat
transfer of the flat-bottom vertical finned tube, and to avoid
the traditional complex, time-consuming numerical calculation,
this thesis provides a simplified model of vertical axial
outside finned, one dimensioned condensation and heat
transfer. We will establish a theoretical model, focus on the
different geometric parameters of the outside finned shape,
height, width, number and trapezoid half angle, to the
influence of condensation and heat transfer. Besides, we will
consider the accumulation of bottom film, because of gravity,
to discuss its whole influence on condensation and heat
transfer. To test and verify the suitable for use and
reliability of this theoretical model, the thesis will
coordinate the experimental measure of vertical trapezoid,
triangle and vertical finned tube, and follow the Modified
Wilson Plot to analyse. The theoretical and experimental
analyses of different finned geometric parameters ( the height,
width, number, and trapezoid half angle of fin), because of
the influence on condensation and heat transfer, can not only
test and verify the validity of theoretical model but find the
possible geometric size and optimal combination of the whole
finned tube, according to the result of analysis. From the
result of analysis, this theoretical model can be applied to
the primary estimate on heat transfer of the right angle,
trapezoid angle, triangle, etc. As for the efficiency, the
trapezoid finned tube has higher property of unit heat
transfer. Besides, the trapezoid finned tube possesses better
intensity; it can be used longer, and it also reduces the use
of material. About the selection of geometric size, we must
consider all kinds of parameters comprehensively to get the
optimal performance of vertical finned tube.
