碩士 / 國立海洋大學 / 船舶機械工程學系 / 82 / In this study, the thermal characteristics of a copper pinin
boiling in a pool of distilled water is investigated experi-
entally. Various inclined angles of the fin are tested from
veryigh cooling runs temperatures initially and hence the
relation-hip between total heat transfer rate and the
temprature at thein base is quantified and compared. The effect
of the temperature f ambient liquid on heat transfer rate is
also studied. From ographic observation Taylor and Helmholtz
instability Wavelengthsre measured. In addition, a different
heat transfer mode appearshen the input power is redused in a
heating run. This hysteresisffect is detected and explained.
