One of the most difficult management problem for the MNC is that of reccruiting and selecting suitable people to be sent on foreign assignements. It''s essential for global success.
Values is the basis of human to judge and makes choice. Managers'' leadership behavior can influence them to establish the strategy of hunan resource management. So the prupose of this paper is to search for the relationship of values, leadership behaviors and selecting expatriate.
This paper is to review over 82 of the MNCs which parent company is in Taiwan. To search for their middle or top manageger for them who has the right to select expatriate. Understanding their values, leadership behavior and for what cdodnditions to select the expatriate. lect data, and used SAS to analysis. The findings are:
1.Their is a significant positive relativity between values and selecting expatriate. But their isn''t has significant differences for selection, when the degree of values is defferent.
2.Their is a significant positive relativity between managers'' leadership behaviors and selecting expartiate. And their is significant differences for selection, when the degree of initaiating structure factor is different.
3.Their is a significant positive relativity between managers'' values and their leadership behavior.
4.Their is a significant positive relativity between managers'' values, their leadership behaviors and selecting expatriate.
5.Managers consider the most important conditon for expatriate is empoyee''s operational ability, and then is personal factor and language ability.
