碩士 / 國立中山大學 / 海洋環境學系 / 83 / The research described in this paper involves the development
of a finite element model for the dynamic analysis of offshore
template structures. The horizontal and vertical forces due to
the wave motion on the bracings of typical template structures
were consired, and then the horizontal, vertical and rotational
motions at each node in the finite element model were taken
into account and analyzed. Besides, this paper extended the
study of Lee(1994) for the application of viscoelastic damper
to the template structures to the MDOF system. A new design for
the dampers incorporated in the template structures was
presented, and dynamic analyses were carried out to observe the
effect of the vibration mitigation.
