Treatibility of Landfill Leachate by Seawater Flocculation / 海水膠凝法處理垃圾滲出水可行性之研究

碩士 / 國立中山大學 / 海洋環境學系 / 83 / Seawater flocculation is achieved mainly by the formation of
great amounts of magnesium hydroxide with magnesium ions
presenting in great amounts in seawater controlled under high
pH values. The purpose of this study is to investigate the
treatment efficiencies of raw leachate and the effluent of
leachate from anaerobic filter and the rotating biological
contacter(RBC) treatments by seawater flocculation.According to
the experimental results, the treatment efficiencies of raw
leachate was limited. For the leachate after biological and
seawater flocculation treatments, the results showed that the
efficiencies were still limited.However,the removal
efficiencies of pollutant are proportional to the production of
magnesium hydroxide produced in the process. It was concluded
that neither seawater flocculation nor combination of biofilm
biological treatment and seawater flocculation showed high
removal efficiencies of contaminants from leachate even though
seawater flocculation were likely to be more economical used to
treatment leachate generated from coastal zone landfill sites.
However,it is required to study deeply.
