碩士 / 國立中山大學 / 環境工程研究所 / 83 / Pilot tests were performed with a biotrickling filter(1 m2 in
cross-sectional area and 6 m in packing height) for treating
hydrogen sulfide emitted a fish-processing waster water plant.
Results indicated that, in the operating conditions of
volumetric H2S loadings of F/V < 6.0 g/(M3Hr), influent H2S
concentrations of C0 , 180 ppmv, gas empty-tower retention
times of GRT = 1.64 ∼ 3.53 min, circulation water pH's of 3.4
∼ 8.9, the followinf results were obtained : (1) H2S removal
efficiency is not closely related to pH and L of the
circulating water and to GRT, (2) H2S elimination capa -city
(K0) of the filter is proportional to its loading (F/V), and
K0/(F/V) = 93 ∼ 96 %, and (3) transfer of H2S into the biofilm
is the rate-limiting step.
