A Study of Marina Development on the Very Downstream Section of Tan-shui River / 淡水河關渡大橋迄出海口段遊艇港開發之研究

碩士 / 國立海洋大學 / 航運技術研究所 / 83 / There is ample water activity space for the sea-surrounded
province of Taiwan. Today, the landuse is getting saturated. On
the other hand, a large-scale development takes long
deliberation. If we can make good use of our environment and
search the site to build yacht harbors to make scenic spots
continuously, then there must be positive effects in changing
people''s life style and the development of our tourist
industry. Tan-shui River is the longest one at the north area
of Taiwan. Becuase of the rising of water activities, inthe
text we will focus on the very downstream section of the river,
and discuss the associated affairs of marina development,
including the overview of operating marina in European
countries, U.S., and Japan etc., the model which fits here in
Taiwan, the sea, land and weather conditions around here, and
the interrelated laws and rules. Meanwhile, we will suggest the
proper site boundry of yacht harbor to increase the sightseeing
value of this area by using the results comes from the
operation and analysis of the GIS system. We plan to establish
a GIS system of specialized data includes the very downstream
section in the text to digitize the existing maps, nautical
charts and associated attribute data. We proceed the spatial
analysis and data processing by using the system which has been
built to help us chose the proper location.
