On a vertical two-dimensional model of an estuarine river / 感潮河川垂直二維數值模擬之研究

碩士 / 國立臺灣大學 / 土木工程學研究所 / 83 / A width-averaged vertical two-dimensional hydraulic and
salinity routing model is developed in this model. The model is
applicable to simulate the complicated hydraulic characteristics
and pollutant transport in an estuarine river. The governing
equations solved in the model including:water continuity
equation, momentum equations and salinity convection-diffusion
equation.
To increase the convergent speed and model''s stability, the
PISO ( Pressure-Implicit with Splitting of Operators ) method
proposed by Miyata & Nishimara was adopted to solve the flow
field in this model. The traditional MAC ( Marker and
Cell ) method was modified in this study to simulate the
longitudinal variations of the free surface.
The model was applied to simulate the surface variations and
the hydraulic characteristics of a seiche in a rectangular basin
and a traveling solitary wave in a rectangular channel. The
results were verified with analytical solutions, and the results
are satisfactory.
