the Analysis of death in "Being and Time" by Heidegger / 海德格在《存有與時間》中的死亡分析

碩士 / 國立中央大學 / 哲學研究所 / 84 / Death is the ending of life, and is the necessary and important
part of whole life. That is, life necessarily implies death. A
life without death is wholeless. Because of death, we can
understand the limittness of life; a limitted life leads us to
think of the meaning of life and the truth of the world. That
is the task which philosophers would question. Therefore, the
philosophy of death, can be said, is the primary task in
philosophical area. The aim of this paper is to understand how
Heidegger dealed with the task of death -- the large and
important task in life. Death is a prior condiction of life and
is a possibility for everybody. The meaning of death is to call
us to face our own life, to choice an authentic mode of life,
and to create a good life.
