Corrosion Properties and Hydrogen Permeation of Structural steel / 結構用鋼材與304不銹鋼在海水中的腐蝕性及氫滲透之研究

碩士 / 國立海洋大學 / 材料工程研究所 / 84 / The first part of this study is concerned the corrosion rates
and corrosion prevention of harbor structure materials in
Keelung harbor. The second part, the effects of calcareous
deposits formation on the hydrogen absorption of steel were
investigated. Low carbon steel showed lower corrosion rates in
deeper seawater, and immunize corrosion by coupling sarcifial
anode or applying antifouling paint after 3、 6 and 10 months
exposure in seawater respectively. Stainless steel was
susceptable to pitting due to biofouling and crevice under
plastic washer in seawater.Hydrogen permeation transients for
steel in synthetic seawater were measured at 25℃ as a function
of cathodic charging current density. The effects of applied
cathodic current density and main mineral contents(Ca , HCO ,
Mg)of synthetic seawater on the hydrogen permeation rate were
investigated. The permeation rates show a descending trend as
the formation of Ca-rich deposit on steel surface in synthetic
seawater.
