Reliability-Based Ship Structural Analysis / 船體縱向結構之可靠度分析

碩士 / 國立成功大學 / 造船工程學系 / 85 / In this paper the safety of tankers under extreme sagging
condition is studied. A recent built tanker of 260000 tones is
selected as an example to demonstrate the safety assessment
procedure. The extreme wave load based on probability approach
is examined, and ultimate strength of stiffened panels also
studied.Reliability techniques are applied to determine the
safety levelsof the tanker by means of Mean Value First Order
Second Moment method(MVFOSM). Reliability indices associate
with various faile modes are calculated. The proposed procedure
may provide a safe and more economical way in ship
structural design.
