A Study on Fatigue Crack Growth in A5083P-O / 船用鋁合金船A5083P-O疲勞裂縫進展之研究

碩士 / 國立成功大學 / 造船工程學系 / 85 / More and more ships of aluminum alloy are built
laterly. The fatigue fracture of aluminum alloy is weaker than
steel, so avoiding fatigue fracture of aluminum alloy between
the usage life is one of the major job in designing marine
structure strength. The study concerns fatigue crack
growth of aluminum alloy under different load. Firstly, we
research the influence of the effective stress intensity,
stress ratio and loading amplitude. Secondly, experiments
on different sheet are described which confirm the occurrence
of fatigue crack closure. Thirdly, a single overload was found
to cause retardation of the crack growth rate. In this, we
also give a briefing. Lastly, using inverse transform method
a series of random loading is simulated which can be used as
the input loading of fatigue tests and comparing the analysis
methods of Elber and Jono. At least, we provide the
results of the fatigue tests and applicable estimate method.
Take the results to prove the fatigue fracture designing
norms of aluminum alloy for the usage of researchers and
designers.
