forwordspeed in open sea, expecially on diffraction problem.This
subject separtssteady problem in calm water ,and the unsteady
problem where incident wavesact upon the ship ,bescide coupling
effect must be consider. A translation source distribution has
been developed to calculation steady problem,where the
neumerical model adduce Hess & Smith''s method,and Shen & Farell''
s complex integration,additionally pulsating source distribution
adopts Noblesse''s series expansion for unsteady problem. Panel
method has been adduce to discret integral equations, and
determine by matrix solution.Ship wave exciting forces and
moments for series 60 (Cb=0.6, Cb=0.7) and WIGLEY models have
been computed and compared to experiments data and strip theory
results, good agree with this present method. So, this
mathematics scheme can be a good bases for seakeeping ambit.
