碩士 / 國立海洋大學 / 生物技術研究所 / 85 / This study represents the initially manganese geochemistry
investigation in the Kuroshio-East China Sea Shelf Exchange
Process. The analytical worksinclude the dissolved manganese(
DMn), Particulate manganese(PMn) and Particulatealuminum(PAl).
The microwave digestion along with atomic absorption
analysisappeared that the deviation of the recovery was less
than 10%, which based theanalytical result of the NRCC/BCSS-1
marine sediments certified referencematerial. Results of five
cruises'investigations of the vertical DMn distribution at
astation in the southern Okinawa Trough, it appeared a
persistent mid-depth maximum concentration 5-8 nM of DMn with
the peak at about 800 m. The mid-depthmaximums also along with a
potential density at 27.1-27.2, which implied the intermediate
DMn maximum possibly associated with the lateral diffusion
andadvection pathway. According to the deference between total
manganese(TMn) and chelex-100 extractable manganese(C-100Mn), it
represents that the concentration ofC-100Mn is small that the
TMn on shelf region, but in the deep sea region theC-100Mn is
almost equal to the TMn, especially in the middle layer water.
