The effects of sea water quality change caused by advection and dispersion of the thermal discharge / 溫排水擴散對海域水質變化之影響

碩士 / 國立海洋大學 / 河海工程學系 / 85 / According to the rules made by EPA, the outlet
temperature of thermaldischarge shall not exceed 42℃, and the
water temperature on the sea surface at 500m away from the
outlet point shall not exceed 4℃.So in the area, the
temperature change should cause large effects for water quality.
According tothe Ever Power IPP Company's Hai Fu Power Project,
the study chose Shahaihuin Tauyuan as a object, and established
the hydrodynamic model to understand the speed and direction
changes of the current field. Then, we established the advection
and dispersion model to simulate the temperature distributionof
the sea on condition that we changed the discharge and fixed the
outlet temperature and analyze the temperature changes of four
main points of theboundaries. In the end, we established the
water quality model to simulate the BOD and DO changes caused by
the changes of the water temperature of the outlet. And by
different discharges of the outlet, we discussed the contrast.
