shipping.After it''s growing in economic,the cargo import and
export hascontiun increase.To make this growing going on ,
beside exploreour international trade, we should also sesearch
our fleet''s constructionand capacity.Because of the safely,
quickly and conveniently,container噸位 shippingwill be the main
trend for the future. Containerships take a great shipping
percentage in Taiwan''s shipping fleet, and it has become the
most imp part of liner shipping. This is the reason we
concentrateour researchortantliner shipping.
This article''s first part will analysis the numbers ,deadweight,
age andspeed of Taiwan''s liner fleet.The second part then
discuss the situation ofthe four main line of Taiwan''s liner
shipping. Beside thought about Taiwan''seconomic and social
factors ,we also thought the major export and import country''s
eocnomic and social factors for establish models to find out
atrend for planning. The third part in this article will
present a model to desige a linerfleet. We establish a linear
programmming formulation for the liner fleetdeployment problem.
The approaches for design both the ship size and fleet scale in
the different routes are present.
