Study on the removal of inorganic nitrogen and phosphorus in the sewage effluent by marine microalgae Skeletonema costatum and Dunaliella sp. / 以兩種海洋微細藻Skeletonemacostatum與Dunaliellasp.去除生活污水中無機氮、磷之研究

碩士 / 國立臺灣大學 / 海洋研究所 / 85 / It is a possible way to use economical value microalgae
removeinorganic nitrogen and phosphorus in sewage and turn into
reusablematerial. For this reason, this research use f/2 medium
and secondaryeffluent mix with different ratio seawater of
Taipei Ming-shen sewagedisposable factory by batch culture to
culture Skeletonema costatum anddunaliella sp. We can understand
the growth of microalgae and the effectof removing inorganic
nitrogen and phosphorus in water by collecting cultivated
medium, analyzing and recording Chlorophyll, cell number and the
concentration of PO4-P, NO3-N, NO2-N and NH4-N in cultivated
medium. The conclusion was Skeletonema costatum and Dunaliella
sp. both can grow rapidly and reduce large amount of inorganic N
and P in blend medium which mix high ratio of efflunet to
sewater. Two species of microalgae utilize inorganic N both give
priority to NH4-N. The concentration of NO3-N will obviously
decrease after the concentration of NH4-N left about 30 micro M.
Compare the growth of two species of microalgae mix culture to
single culture, mix-cultureis better for the growth and
absorption of microalgae as a result. It''s worth for further
research, cause we can apply the result of thisresearch to
sewage treatment.
