Dvelpment and application of a Free Running Model Test System for Ship Maneuverability / 船舶操縱性能自航船模試驗分析系統之研發與應用

碩士 / 國立臺灣大學 / 造船工程學系 / 85 / The objective of this rresearch is to developed an automatic
test system for estimsting the maneuvering performanc of ships
based on the free running model.The configuration of this test
system includes four parts, which are data acquisition
subsystem, automatic steering subsystem, remote monitoring
subsystemand positioning subsystem. In order to verified the
feasibility of this test system, an 1/80 scaled model an 165,000
DWTship is constructed and considered in the experiment. The
maneuver-ing performance to be estimatted in the project
includes the initial turning ma-neuver,turning circle maneuver,
zigzag maneuver, stopping maneuver,spiral maneu-ver and pull out
test under the ballast and full load conditions and the IMO man-
euver performance criterion in the full load conditions.
Based on this automatic test system of the free running model
investigated,we hope that it can be recognized as a standard
test system for ship maneuveringperformance prediction.
