Capsizing Probability and Anti-Capsizing Control of the Vessel Under Random Sea / 船舶於隨機性海浪下之翻覆機率與抗翻覆控制

碩士 / 國立中正大學 / 機械工程研究所 / 86 / Ship safety is an important research topic, which is determined by a ship''s ability to prevent capsizing. This thesis estimates the capsizing probability for a given vessel under a given sea state. Also, an anticapsizing contoller is designed to prevent ship capsizing in sever sea states.
We study the problem from the geometric viewpoint of dynamical systems. Extensive numerical simulations are performed to estimate the capsizing probability of vessels on pseudo - random or random seas. In the study of anti - capsizing problem, we use anti - roll tank to be our actuator, combining with the controller by Lyapunov - based nonlinear control and fuzzy control. After simulation, we can prove that this control system can automatically tunes proper gains according to sea condition so that the required input power is within reasonable limits and can be used effectively.
