碩士 / 國立成功大學 / 水利及海洋工程學系 / 86 / Pumping test is one of the major methods to identify the
parameters of aquifer (i.e.,Transmissibility and Storage
Coefficient) at field. As Taiwan isan island surrounding by
the ocean, the groundwater level near shore is affected
significantly by the periodic tidal fluctuation. This periodic
fluct-uation affects the drawdown while pumping test is carried
out. So,it is necess-ary to filter the tidal influence before
determining the correct parameters ofaquifer by analyzing the
field testing drawdown data. A
statistical method proposed in this paper is applied to analyze
the tidalwave and groundwater level records to determine the
time lag, tidalefficiency and the regional hydraulic gradient of
the tidal wave. These three parameters can be used to correct
the tidal influence during field pumpingtest. In addit-ion, the
paper applies the PIPEDREAM model developed by Lee & Yen (1997)
basedon the Kalman filter algorithm to identify the parameters
of aquifer in real-time.
Finally, the field pumping test data carried out at Wyckoff-
Eagle Harbor, U.S.A. was used to test this model. The identified
results show that the Trans-missibility and Storage Coefficient
were much similar with that estimated by Theis,Cooper-Jacob and
Least Square methods and a minimum estimation error wasfound in
this model.Compared the estimation errorand pumping test request
timewith that obtained by different model, the conclusion was
made that the modelproposed in this paper is applicable to
identify the typical parameters of aquifer in the coastal
region.
