碩士 / 國立中央大學 / 土木工程學系 / 86 / Abstract Since operation revenue is the most important profit
of liner containership company, the company is usually actively
to develop an effective schedule system. The major objective of
the research is to develop a framework for linear carrier in
evaluating and adjusting their draft time tables and providing
an better ship routings under fluctuating market demand
condition. The models of this research are formulated as
multiple network flow problems with side constraints that are
characterized as NP-Complete problems. The Lagrangian Relaxation
with subgradient methods accompanied with the Network Simplex
method and flow augment is suggested to solve the problems. In
order to show the application of this framework in real world
and to test the models'' characteristics, a case study regarding
the international operations of a major Yang Ming company is
performed by using C computer language in a HP 735 workstation.
The results show that the framework is useful in actual
operation.
