博士 / 國立臺灣大學 / 造船工程學系 / 86 / Based on the Rankine-source distribution associated with
Gaussian quadrature, a high order panel method is developed for
solving ship-wave problems. The ship surface is represented by a
number of parametric panels on which the source densities are
solved at Gaussian points without assuming the shape functions.
Since the order of Gaussian approximation can be arbitrarily
chosen, this method can be easily applied to a very complicated
ship geometry. On the free surface, a number of special panels
are gentanker, are presented. Practical improvment of Cw of a
1092 TEU container''s shipis based on our method . Two sets of
ship model tests were conducted for the original and an
improved ship forms , to check the performances predicted by
thepresent method . It shows a good agreement between the model
test and the prediction.
