Study on the Improvement of Biological Treatment of Wastewater / 掍合泡綿及活性污泥改善廢水生物處理功能之研究

碩士 / 中國文化大學 / 造紙印刷研究所 / 86 / The organic compounds that are difficult to biodegrade or
toxic, will affect the treatability of biological treatment. The
combination of sponge media and avtived sludge, willincrease the
treatability of biological treatment. For the different organic
compound changed, the systemswith sponge, has a better
adaptability. The continuous addition of methanol is helpful
for removing the organic compounds. For a DTPA wastewater
with an initial COD concentration of approximately 1600 mg/l,
the addition of the sponge media increased COD removal from
43.3% to 59.1%. To treated the phenol: At low concentration (
theconcentration is about 300 mg/l), both of them have
goodtreatability. At the high concentration (the concentration
is about 1000 mg/l), the system that has sponges COD can
beremoved about 99%. However at the system that has no sponges,
the COD just 66.7% removed. Continously add the
phenolconcentration is 500 mg/l and 1000 mg/l, the total COD was
about 89.9% be removed at the system that have addthe sponge. At
the system that has no sponge can reduce for 25% of treatment
time. For the COD Loading increase suddenly, the system that
has sponge will degrading the organic compound more quickly. The
concentration of phenol is increasing from 200 mg/l to 2000 mg/
l. At the same reaction time, the system that has sponges the
degrability is 91.2%. However the system that has no sponges,
the degradability only 42.6%.
