bioaugmention, and evaluate the oil degradation efficiency of the product.The different surfactant can promote microbial growth. From the experiment, There
are Tween 40 for diesel oil, Tween 60 for kerosene, Tween 20 for motor oil, Tween 80 for paraffin. The quantity of surfactant is 0.05%(vol). The different surfactant can curtail the lag time of the different bacteria. The Tween 40 0.05%(vol) can curtail the lag time 12 hrs of diesel oil utilizer. The Tween 80 0.05%(vol) also can clip the lag time 12 hrs of paraffin utilizer. The substrate concentration is 1.0% for diesel oil utilizer, 2.0% for kerosene utilizer,1.5% for motor oil utilizer, 1.0% for paraffin utilizer. The time for seed culture preparation are 3 days for diesel oil utilizer, 5 days for kerosene utilizer, 1 days for motor oil utilizer, 2 days for paraffin utilizer. The average specific growth rate of diesel oil utilizer, kerosene utilizer, motor oil utilizer, paraffin utilizer are 0.051 hr-1, 0.040 hr-1, 0.149 hr-1, 0.075 hr-1 respectively.Compare the cultural time of microbe in the fresh water and sea water.Paraffin utilizer is 60~64 hrs and 138~144, individually. Motor oil utilizer is 80~84 and 168~174 hrs. The capability of oil-spill biodegradation was evaluated in shaking cultivation method, it revealed that the oil degradation efficiency of paraffin utilizer and motor oil utilizer were 60~68% and 60~67% in three day treatment.The biocount of paraffin and motor oil bioaugmention agent was 109~1010 and 1010~1012 CFU/g product. This bioaugmentation agent can be used in the accident of oil spill, and reduce that oil spill damage of the ocean ecology.
