碩士 / 國立成功大學 / 航空太空工程學系 / 87 / In the 1991s, the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) provide integrity satellite Communication, Navigation, Surveillance and Air Traffic Management planned, expect to new technology and Air Traffic Control Management concept, and it''s solution air traffic congest and ATC management concept. In the future through year 2015, the navigation system will transition to use satellites, augmented by ground monitoring stations and augmentation systems, to provide navigation signal coverage throughout the Taipei Flight Information Region (FIR). The CAA has development CNS/ATM planning fifteen years. The new technology shall be capable of providing how a satellite-based navigation system could eventually replace the ground-based system. Now, the MITRE corporation 、ITRI、Academia Sinica、Institute for Information Industry and N.C.K.U have planning future air traffic architecture of R.O.C.. This thesis has discuss development planning of Taipei Area Augmentation System under satellite navigation concepts, the TAAS shall be capable of supporting advance approach and landing procedure, as well as precision capabilities simultaneously multiple runways. The cost/benefit analysis will determine the cost effectiveness of investing in GBAS equipment. One or more ground stations could potentially facilitate decommissioning of some or all VORs, DMEs and NDBs that will be implemented as part of TAAS. GBAS equipment would potentially facilitate decommissioning of some or all airport ILS and MLSs that will be implemented as part of TAAS. In addition, GBAS may be able to provide precision approach capabilities to runways where the environment precludes the use of an ILS.
