碩士 / 國立暨南國際大學 / 國際企業學系 / 87 / The purpose of this study is to find out the critical factors affecting decisions of ownership structure of FDI, and whether there is structure change around the Asian Financial Crisis. According to other literatures, this study concludes two categories of factors that influence the selection of ownership structure. They are internal factors (including firm size, international experience and R&D intensity) and external factors (including cultural familiarity, political stability and following the client). The conclusions of this study are as follows: 1.The factors that make significant and positive influence on selection of highly ownership structure are FDI experience and following the client. 2.The factor that make significant and negative influence on selection of highly ownership structure is political stability. 3.Ownership structure has no structure change after the Asian Financial Crisis. But FDI experience and following the client are significant and positive in influencing ownership structure around the Asian Financial Crisis.
