Statistical analysis of ECG and blood pressure data - Logistic regression and spectrum analysis / 心電圖與血壓的統計分析-邏輯斯特迴歸及頻譜分析

碩士 / 國立中山大學 / 應用數學系 / 87 / This thesis consists of the following two parts. In the first part, we consider six statistics, the standard deviations and medians of RR intervals, PR intervals and RT intervals, respectively derived from a ten minutes ECG data. A quadratic classification rule is applied to select the best combination of variables that classify between normal and ventricular heart disease (VSD), normal and ventricular heart disease with congestive heart failure (VSD+CHF), and VSD and VSD+CHF. Furthermore, we apply three logistic regression models to estabilish parameteric relationships between the classification vectors and the probability of getting heart disease. The R.O.C. curves are plotted to compare the sensitivities and specificities of different logistic models under different cut-points. In the second part, we study the relation between the spectrum of RR interval and systolic pressure and try to give their medical interpretations. In the literature, the contribution of the energy in the low and high frequency are effected by sympathetic nerve and parasympathetic nerve. Therefore, we propose corresponding statistics to observe patients during the recovery period after opeation in intensive care unit.
