In this experiment, we expressed it as the eel growth hormone and the expression of recombinant eGH was produced after methanol induction in 24 hours. We tried to use the ammonium sulfate instead of YNB and we found that it is feasible to achieve the goal of economical cost.
Biologic activity of recombinant growth hormone was determined by feeding Trionyx Sinensis. Over a 7-week period, the growth rate of experiments fed with 0.5﹪ recombinant growth hormone once or twice a week were increased by about 40﹪compared to untreated control group.
