Study on the Integration of Six Degree of Freedom Ship Motion Simulator and Virtual Reality / 六自由度船舶運動模擬機與虛擬實境之整合研究

碩士 / 國立臺灣大學 / 造船及海洋工程學研究所 / 87 / In this paper, we integrate the ship motion and virtual reality with the original six degree of freedom Stewart platform to accomplish a six-degree of freedom ship motion simulator.
We give the length of hydraulic cylinder as servo command to the amplifier and drive the simulator by elector-hydraulic servo system to attain the platform to six degree of freedom motion in space. For the purpose of simulate the ship, aircraft, crane, etc.
We also develop ship motion virtual reality software and add the actual ship motion parameter in our VR program to simulate the actual ship motion.
Finally, we combine the VR image and electro-hydraulic servo system with actual ship motion simulated on the PC base with windows95 OS, and then the six degree of freedom ship motion simulator is completed.
The refresh rate is at least 30 frames per second under the circumstance of 800x600 resolutions and 256 colors of VR image to accomplish the communication between the VR system and users.
