Behavior of Orthotropic Steel Deck Subjected to Load / 鋼橋面板之載重行為研究

碩士 / 國立臺灣科技大學 / 營建工程系 / 87 / The structural characteristics of the orthotropic steel deck of bridges are strongly affected by the welding of the longitudinal ribs under the deck. The ribs are used to enhance the strength and the stiffness of the orthotropic steel deck and to reduced the thickness of deck plate material. This study is emphasized on the effect of the local buckling of the rib on the structural behavior of the orthotropic steel deck. The residual stresses of the orthotropic steel deck are measured by the "Blind Hole Drilling Method" and "Sectioning Method" in order to establish the characteristic of residual stresses in the steel deck. Long and short specimens cut from the deck were loaded by the uniaxial load and eccentric load to examine the effect of the residual stresses and the local buckling of the rib of the steel deck. Experimental of results are also compared with that of nonlinear finite element analysis. Suggestions for the design and construction of this type orthotropic deck are also proposed.
