碩士 / 中原大學 / 化學工程學系 / 88 / Two-phase frictional pressure characteristics for refrigerants R-22, R-407C, and R-410A in the 3, 5, 7, 9 mm smooth tubes and 8.92, 9.0 mm micro-fin tubes are reported in the present study. The range of mass velocities are ranged from 50 to 600 kg m-2s-1. It is found that for a fixed mass flux, saturation temperature, and quality, the pressure drops for R-22 are higher than those of R-407C and R410A. The predictive ability of the existing correlations and as Friedel correlation, homogeneous model, and the Souza and Pimenta correlations are comparable at a mean deviation of 30~35%. However, the predictive ability of Chisholm correlation is quite poor. Base on the experimental data of this study and from other investigators, modifications to the homogeneous model and Chisholm correlation are made and the relevant mean deviations of the modified correlations are around 17~18%.
