The research on relationship of ownership style , business value activities and human resource management of the overseas subsidiaries of enterprises in Taiwan / 台灣企業海外子公司所有權型態、價值活動與人力管理活動關係之研究

碩士 / 輔仁大學 / 管理學研究所 / 88 / In the process of the internationalization for the enterprises, the situation is estimated to be seen that they setup their subsidiaries to the oversea to do the business that based on developing the market or the comparative advantages of the production essentials. On the other hand, the ownership style of these subsidiaries would include sole proprietor, joint venture, and the acquisition. As the above mentioned, it will involve many activities of the human resource management that is related to the business value activities of the subsidiaries and its different ownership style.
This research is focus on the relationship of the ownership style , different business value activities and the related human resources management of the overseas subsidiaries of enterprises in Taiwan . The purpose of this research is below:
1. It affects the operation and development for a corporation to stand on the stage of the world and the human resource management through observing Taiwan’s enterprises to do the internationalization. The two main causes are that understand the ownership style and the business value activities.
2. To discuss the difference between the ownership style and the business value activities at the subsidiaries and the consideration of the activities and control on the human resource management.
This research is adopted the Case method . The author choose six objections of Taiwan’s corporations that have the subsidiaries to the oversea and to do the internationalization. According to recognizing the different value activities and the ownership style, we have the request to do the interview with their related leaders or supervisor and collect the details. Therefore, the main resoult of the research is as the following descriptions.
Research Finding One
The human resource management of the oversea subsidiaries is related to its ownership style, such as the sole proprietor, joint venture, and the acquisition. However, the real impact power is from the one who supply the key resources that is needed for the subsidiary’s operation.
Research Finding Two
It’s related between the human resource management of the oversea subsidiaries and the business value activities that they did in the subsidiaries .
Research Finding Three
Others finding : The part of Taiwan’s enterprises will grade their oversea subsidiaries according to the market’s scale, importance and location of every subsidiary . By doing this , It will be convenient for mother company to decide to invest how much human resource from the mother company in Taiwan , and adjust the style of human resource control .
