Impacts of FDI Activities on Domestic Firms─Restructuring Effects / 海外投資對母公司企業網路聯結之資源再結構化研究

碩士 / 國立暨南國際大學 / 國際企業學系 / 88 / Past researches of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and Deindustrialization mostly focus on the issues of employment and export. Our study regards FDI activities as a part of industrial structure adjustment. Owing to domestic circumstances change, firms shift operation to overseas sites. Such strategic decision make great impact on domestic firms.
How to restructure a firm's resources efficiently is the key to success or survival. We try to realize specific restructuring phenomenon on domestic firms after a firm's overseas investing.. Besides, we want to know relationships between restructuring effects and firm's performance. Restructuring effects in our study include three constructs: Production, Marketing , and Research. Our samples are Taiwanese firms, we use MONOVA and regression model for data analysis.
The empirical results show that the differences of restructuring effects are statistically significant on three choice location, and also find out its relationship between restructuring effect and firm's performance.
