碩士 / 國立臺灣大學 / 造船及海洋工程學研究所 / 88 / Ocean data such as sound speed and temperature distribution can be obtained by inversion of modal travel time measured in field experiments. The modal analysis is based on the MOSPEF(Modal Spectrum of PE Field). The goal is to establish the framework of 3D modal analysis(Modal Spectrum of Three-Dimensional PE Field,MOS3DPEF).The modal travel time is determined by integration of the three-dimensional sound field computed by FOR3D code and the local modal function computed by FEMODE.
The cases of cold front, warm eddy, and Northeastern Taiwan are studied using MOS3DPEF. Results show that ocean environments where the cold front or warm eddy exists have weak 3D effect but strong modal-coupling effect. But Northeastern Taiwan ocean environments has both strong 3D effect and strong modal-coupling effect.
